Option For 60 Inch Trailer AxleSince it appears nobody makes hubs for my

Question:

Okay, Since it appears nobody makes hubs for my trailer, lets consider the axle replacement. The one recommended is too large. I believe I need one with a total length of 60 inches or close to it. The spring centers measure 40-1/2 inches, but I think I could slip them out an inch or so to make a fit. Got anything for that? Thanks

We do have axles with 60 inch hub face to hub face measurements. This is a 2,000 lb axle, though the spring centers measure 48 inches. What you can do though is have new springs welded on at the location you need with Spring Seat # TRSS175.

This axle is the Trailer Idler Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles - 60" Long - 2,000 lbs # e48GR.

Then for the hubs, the right one for you will depend on if you need a hub with a 4 on 4" bolt pattern or 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, as well as your wheel size. If you aren't sure what your bolt pattern is, I have added a link below to a help article which explains how to measure for it.

- 4 on 4" Bolt Pattern / 8" to 14" Wheels: Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-2K

- 5 on 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern / 10" to 12" Wheels: Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K

- 5 on 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern / 13" to 15" Wheels: Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K
