Availability of Heavy Duty 7-Way Plug

Question:

I am looking at one of these: PK12706 after a bad experience with another similar product screws and terminals are tiny/underbuilt. Hoping this is a more robust connector...or, do you have one that is heavier duty and has larger screws and better construction when it comes to securing the trailer wires. What size terminal connectors would work with this unit, or with something better do you suggest U terminal connectors or round ones? Wrapping wire around screws isnt secure enough for me... Thank you.

We offer a metal trailer 7-way with the part # HM48510 which would be the toughest 7-way out there. In general though the connectors for the wiring are all about the same without there being a much tougher or overbuilt version in that area.

Like most 7-ways the biggest wire thickness you'd be able to use is right at 10 gauge like # 10-1-1.
