Braking System for Flat Towing 2014 Cadillac SRX With 2013 Newmar King Aire
Question:
I have a 2013 Newmar King Aire equipped with a Voyager Brake controller. I tow a 2014 Cadillac SRX and wonder what I need to do to tie the Voyager into the SRX braking system? Can you advise? Regards

The Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 is designed to work with trailer brakes. There is no way to use this brake controller, or others like it, for flat towing since vehicle brakes are not activated with an electrical circuit. What you need is a supplemental braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This is specifically designed for flat towing and is compatible with your 2014 Cadillac SRX. You will also need the # RM-9332 to power the system.
