will these legs bolt on to an A16 5th wheel hitch with rail system legs? Can I just unbolt the legs from my present hitch body, and put these on for my new truck ?

To convert a Curt A16 fifth wheel hitch to fit the OEM pucks of your 2022 Ford F-250 the leg kit you'd want is actually the part # C16017. This would essentially give you the # C16520-16017 which is the Curt A16 that fits directly to you pucks.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…

I recommend using a Lube Plate #16721 over covering the Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch #DM8550043 in Grease #L74FR. The lube plate is much cleaner and you will not have to constantly clean off the dirt and apply new grease over time.
