I am looking for a rack to fit my 2011 hyundai Tucson with a panaramic roof. I want to make sure to not mess up the car. Do you have something that will work?

We offer a number of roof racks for the 2011 Hyundai Tucson with panoramic sunroof. The racks that are compatible with your exact version of the vehicle will depend on its roof style.

The link provided will take you to our fitguide page for Tucson roof racks and at the top of the page you can select the type of roof on your vehicle (either a naked roof with no sort of hardware or a roof with raised side rails). This will allow you to see compatible roof racks. Systems are available from a number of manufacturers and with several types of crossbars (round, square, elliptical and aerodynamic).

Rack crossbars vary in the amount of noise they generate at highway speeds and in their compatibility with rack-mount accessory items like cargo boxes and bike carriers. I have linked an article that will give you lots of useful information to help you determine the type that best suits your requirements. Generally elliptical and aerodynamic types are the quietest crossbars while round and square bars offer the broadest compatibility with rack-mount accessories.

For example, if your Tucson has a naked roof a good cost-effective square crossbar rack is the Inno system consisting of parts # INB137, # INSUT, and # INK605. A video for this rack is provided.

Please note that certain racks will not be compatible with your panoramic sunroof; this will be indicated on the fitguide page. Also, certain rack-mount accessory items (some bike carriers, for example) may interfere with the sunroof when it is open.

Also note that your Tucson owners manual should indicate a roof weight limit. It is important that this limit not be exceeded. You need to account for the weight of the rack system you choose plus the weight of whatever you load onto it. For example, if you intend to use a cargo box, you need to add the weight of the rack, cargo box and loaded cargo all together and be sure this remains within the vehicle capacity.
