Can 6 Gallon Hott Rod RV Water Heater Conversion Kit Be Used for 10 Gallon Water Heater Tank

I bought a 6 gallon hot rod conversion water heater kit and my tank is a 10 gallon and it burned up the element and the cord is burnt so would it be because I didnt use a 10 gallon rod

If you're using the 6 Gallon Hott Rod RV Water Heater Conversion Kit # DGR6VP for a 10 Gallon application then that would mean you're overworking the kit which could, in turn, burn it up.

For your 10 Gallon water heater I recommend using the 10 Gallon Hott Rod RV Water Heater Conversion Kit # DGR10VP instead.
