I really like the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs, part # SS33HR for underslung or part # SS26MV for overslung axles. The springs do a great job of adding stability to the trailer by absorbing road bumps more as well as reducing sway. A good example of this is when you get passed by a semi and a large gust of wind hits the trailer. This would normally cause the trailer to rock side to side creating sway but with the springs, they will compress when the trailer leans to one side which minimizes the rocking and then in turn sway. The springs also do a good job of helping preserving your existing leaf springs so you won't be replacing them as often.

In regards to shocks like the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers part # RM-2460, these will do more for absorbing road shocks and creating a smoother ride whereas the SumoSprings will do more for sway. They are both great options and can be used together. If you have more issues with sway start with the SumoSprings or if you have more issue with ride quality start with the shocks.
