Hello, you guys have been very helpful and Informative in the past so Im reaching out for some suggestions on which weight distribution/anti-sway hitch I should purchase. Im towing a 16 scamp, and a gvw of about 2,600#s with a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. Thank you,

Glad we've been able to help before, and we can absolutely get your 2.600 lb Scamp trailer set up with a weight distribution hitch with anti-sway. The option I really like is from Blue Ox, called the TrackPro, with the correct version for your trailer being the following:

- Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU36FR

The TrackPro # BLU36FR is for loaded tongue weights between 200 lbs and 600 lbs, so it's rated perfectly for the tongue weight of your 2,600 lb Scamp. There are a number of reasons why I like the TrackPro, starting with its sway control, which is superior to other set ups. The reason for this is it combats sway at two different points on the hitch - the hitch head and brackets - while other systems have a single point of sway control, usually at the brackets.

So you'll get a more controlled ride with the TrackPro, but along with that, it is also the easiest system to set up and maintain. Its brackets simply clamp on so you don't have to drill into your trailer frame, and you also won't have to adjust its hitch head after the initial set up. This is far more convenient than the majority of systems that require continual - and often tedious - adjustment of the hitch head.

The # BLU36FR even has grease zerks built in to make lubricating it simple, and comes with everything you need for installation, including a 2" hitch ball, so you don't have to purchase the ball separately like you do with most systems.
