Recommend Radial 5.30x12 Tire Upgrade for Trailer
Question:
Question: I have to replace my popup trailer tires which are Loadstar ST 5.30 x 12 - 4 bolt - 4x4. 1045 Capacity. I would like to replace them with radial tires. Which tire and wheel do you recommend? Thanks for your help.

The Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire part # TT53012C is our best radial trailer tire option in this size. The radial plies will keep the tire cooler on the highway which reduces the chance for blowouts. It also has a higher speed rating than the equivalent bias ply so you can travel at speeds up to 81 mph without issue. The 1,050 lb weight rating will exceed the current setup as well so there will be no issues there either.
Please note, we don't have any good combo packages for you at this time so you'll have to take the old wheels and tires to a shop to have the new ones mounted. The other option is to get some new wheels as well so you don't have to take the old ones off until you already have new ones, the Dexstar Solid Center Steel Wheel part # AM20102DX will work great for this and they are made in the USA.
