Does Installation of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Require Fascia Trimming on 2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Just wanting to confirm that this hitch will fit on a 2000 Jetta TDI diesel model without modification of the rear bumper cover. Thanks

Yes, the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24748 does fit the 2000 Volkswagen TDI. I have also included a link to the instructions to the right and you can see that there is no trimming of the bumper or fascia required for hitch installation.
If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # 3593. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # 119178KIT.
