I would be happy to help you set up your 2001 Ford F-150 4WD to tow your camper. I have listed the usual things you'll need, like a hitch, wiring harness, and ball mount below. If you are already set up with these items I recommend adding a set of Stability Plus Stabilizer Helper Springs item # SPS94FR. These attach to your factory leaf springs and provide you with 1,500 lbs of extra support. They will address any squating issues you truck has when hooked up to your trailer.
Trailer Hitch - Curt item # C14355
Wiring Harness - If you don't have any factory trailer connector at all, you'd first install a item # 118344 and then use the Brake Controller Installation Kit, item # ETBC7 to add a 7-way.
Brake Controller - Tekonsha Prodigy 3 item # 90195
Ball Mount Kit - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534.
