Recommended RV Water Pump For A 4 Gallon Water Tank

Question:

Im installing a 4 gallon bladder tank in my rv and am interested in purchasing a pump that has a low turn back on pressure setting and of course the high pressure trunk off setting.

RV water pumps like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE24FR pressurize your trailer's plumbing up to their specific psi rating and kick on when the psi starts to drop. With you only having a 4 gallon tank you would quickly blow through the water in it with a pump so the # SE24FR is a bit overkill for your needs.

I recommend going with a lower psi and GPM model unit like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs - Variable Flow - 1.2 GPM - 35 psi - 12V DC # SE37FR. This would be good for toilets or your sinks if you're just using the water in quick instances like washing your hands or putting water in a wash tub for your dishes.

If you're hooking this up to a water heater or some other appliance that requires a specific water pressure to operate then the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs - Variable Flow - 3 GPM - 55 psi - 12V DC # SE57FR would be closer to the standard psi and GPM requirements for most appliances.
