Can etrailer Replacement Magnet Kit for 12" Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies Fit Lippert 12" Brakes
Question:
I have a Kodiak Dutchman with Lippert 4400 axles and it is equipped with 12 x 2 brakes and I was looking at your magnets part # AKBRBKR-M12 and was wondering if these would work? They measure the same and have great reviews. I just bought the unit and plan on replacing all 4 at the same time, but are they good quality or will they fail in a short amount of time and I would be better off spending the extra money on Lippert ones?

If the 2" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall dimensions of the Replacement Magnet Kit for 12" Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies # AKBRKR-M12 matches what you have on your 12" x 2" trailer brakes then this will work great for your application!
These brake magnets are made by AxleTek who makes quality trailering equipment but doesn't add the price of the big name brands to the products. From my experience their brake equipment holds up just as well as the Dexter Axle and Lippert systems so you can rest assured that these will last as long as the Lippert branded brake magnets.
