Class V Trailer Hitch for a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 with OEM Trailer Hitch
Question:
curt 15800 on Dodge Ram 2011 2500 crew 4x4 with oem hitch Will the 15800 fit this truck ? If it will fit, what about existing oem hitch? Is there a better class 5 hitch for this truck? Do you carry a 36inch extension for a 2 1/2 receiver? Thanks

Curt trailer hitch # C15800 is designed to fit cab and chassis models. Cab and chassis models have a more narrow frame width compared to regular pickups. If you do not have a cab and chassis model this hitch will not fit.
For a regular pickup version of the 2011 Ram 2500 with the OEM hitch you can install Curt hitch # C15809. It will fit beneath the factory hitch. I have included links to the instructions and an installation video for you to view.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK25318. It comes with a ball mount, ball, pin and clip, and a storage bag.
