Temporary Trailer Light Recommendation

Question:

We have flat utility trailer to carry 2atvs, motorcycles, etc. it is stored outside or in a barn and twice animals squirrels? have eaten the wiring such that the lights do not work. Is there such a thing as clip on or bolt on lights with brake lights and directional signals which can be plugged into the truck when in use, then removed and stored inside until the next time the trailer is needed? Similar to the temporary lights you put on cars when they are being towed? Do you sell something like that?

The closest thing to what you described would be the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304. These are tow lights designed for temporary use when flat-towing. You would have to check with your local laws and regulations on trailer lights, but technically these would work well for you.

These lights attach with powerful magnets.
