Lengthening # 3040-P Brake Controller Wiring Adapter to Install Controller in 2013 Toyota Tundra
Question:
Can this wiring harness be made longer? I want to mount my brake control in my center console and I need more length. Thanks.

You can certainly graft in some lengths of 16 gauge wire for the stoplight switch and ground wires (red and white). You would need 12 gauge for the power and brake output (black and blue) wires. We offer 12 gauge wire, sold by the foot as part # 12-1-1 and 16 gauge wire part # 16-1-1, also sold by the foot. You would use butt connectors to join the splices, like # 05732-2 for the 12 gauge wires and # 05731-5 for the 16 gauge.
