Can 9/16" Trailer Hub Studs be Changed to 5/8" Studs
Question:
I would like to change the 9/16” studs to 5/8” studs so I can run bigger wheels and tires. Can I order the 5/8” studs from you. They are dexter axels. Thank you

It may be possible to change your studs from 9/16" to 5/8" so long as the studs are drive-in, and the length and knurl/spline diameter needs to be the same. For example, if your studs are 2-3/4" long and have a 0.69" diameter spline you can use the Replacement Drive-In Trailer Hub Wheel Stud - 5/8"-18 x 2-3/4" Long # 7-232.
So you do need to have some very specific measurements, otherwise you will need to change your hub to get that size wheel stud. I have added a link below to our entire selection of 5/8" studs.
