Will Replacing The Coleman Mach AC's With Furrion's Cause The Temperature Thermostat Issue?

Question:

Hi, I am looking to replace the Coleman Mach air conditioners on my RV and thinking of Furion units. I have seen people had issue with the temperature thermistor for cold being located in the A/C unit vs in the thermostat with the heater thermistor. Has this issue been corrected? Thanks, Steve

As you have a Coleman Mach system currently you can use the Furrion Chill AC units from the list below. These will simply replace only the rooftop units and the controls and thermostats you currently have in place with control the new AC's.

13.5K White # FR82PV
15K White # FR42PV
13.5K Black # FR62PV
15K Black # FR32PV

The issue you are referring to is on systems with a roof distribution box like the Furrion # FACT11MA-PS which has the thermostat in the box rather than a wall controlled thermostat for the air conditioner.
