Will the Advent Air AC 15K Unit Replace a Coleman Mach Unit and Run on 30 Amp Power?
Question:
We have a 2013 Jayco Eagle 334 RBTS with the single Coleman-Mach unit and a 30 amp service. We regularly travel to warmer areas and are ready to change out our original A/C. The original unit struggled to keep up in our large trailer anytime the temps got above 90 degrees, so wed like to upgrade if possible. Can we swap to a 15k btu for a little extra capacity with our 30 amp service?

Yes, you can. The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup w/ Start Capacitor item # ACCOL150B you were looking at is designed to replace Coleman setups like you have now. It will plug into the same connectors your RV has and use your current Coleman controls as well. Since this includes a start capacitor your 30 amp power source will work.
