Yes, you can use a roller for RV slide outs like the Global Link Replacement Roller for RV Slide Out # 295-000180, even if your slide out does not currently have them.

There are not specific weight capacities for either the Global Link Replacement Roller for RV Slide Out - Surface Mount #295-000180 or Side Mount #295-000182.

The rollers like the #295-000180 do carry the contents of the slide out. If the slide out is a bedroom slide out then yes the roller will carry the weight of that.
