I noticed the connection wire on the new motor seems to have 2 male ends and mine has a male and female end. How do I make the connection?

The correct replacement motor for your 59734-20 motor is the Replacement Motor for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301695, which does have 2 male ends and plugs into the connector on the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301702 which is the correct control module for Lippert Electric Coach Steps.

If you have a different connection on your control module, you may have something other than a Lippert Electric Coach Steps. If you can provide me with some more information or photos of your steps, I would be happy to help you look into this further.
