You are correct, the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit, # 1175-3 is a confirmed fit for the 2010 Tacoma, excluding X-Runner trim package, and this will match well to the Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-522 that you have selected.

In addition to the base plates and tow bar you identified, I recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit with Straight Wiring, # RM-9243-1 that includes wiring kit, power cord, mounting bracket, safety cables, padlocks, tow bar cover, and a vinyl bag to store it all. And yes, you can use the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System, # HM39494 on your 2010 Toyota Tacoma.

- Base Plate Kit, Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit, # 1175-3
- Tow Bar, Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-522
- Wiring, Combo Towing Kit (includes safety cables), # RM-9243-1
- Supplemental Braking, Brake Buddy Classic 3, # HM39494

You may or may not need a high/low adapter. I have linked a help article below that walks you through the steps of measuring to determine this. The objective being, once your tow bar is properly connected to both vehicles, that it set at +/- 3" of level. A high/low adapter is used to compensate where and if needed. A tow bar that is not set at proper height is likely to cause excessive wear on front tires, suspension and steering components of the towed vehicle.
