Recommended Ramp Spring to Assist With 200 Pound Gate

i have a 200 lb gate 50inch long. Looking to add a spring or two, or 4 to assist in lifting / lowering.

For your 200 lb gate that is 50" long I recommend using the # RS16933LH and # RS16933RH. These have a high quality steel alloy construction and provide approximately 90 degrees of deflection. They will do a great job helping you lifting and lowering with 2,000 lbs of torque.

I recommend starting with one of each on each side and adding more if necessary. These are designed to fit a 1-1/2" shaft for installation.

An 81 inch long dual ramp spring like part #ERS120D81 would be your ideal solution. Your ramp door is 78 inches long so this being a few inches longer would be ideal.
