Tonneau Cover Recommendation to Use with Fifth-Wheel Hitch on a 2012 Ford F-350 Dually

Question:

I am looking to get a tonneau cover for my 2012 F350 DRW. I am looking an option that lets me have the cover open and closed when the hitch is installed. And no I do not want the cheap rolled up velcro down type. I see to many of those flapping in the wind as people are driving. Want something with a little more rigged. Any suggestions? Appreciate any assistance.

For an absolutely amazing cover for your dually 2012 Ford F-350, I recommend the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80362 (6-3/4" beds) or the # RT80323 (for 8 foot beds). Not only does this cover allow you to open the it at any point of the rails to have it partially open for your fifth-wheel hitch, it comes with a keyed locking handle that has much better security than covers that simply lock with the tailgate. It comes with a drill-free installation and installs simply into your truck's bed rails.

As far as compatibility of your fifth-wheel hitch, there is a way that you can definitely tell if you can fully close the cover with the hitch installed. Since the cover sits 1 inch above your truck's bed, I recommend measuring the height of your fifth-wheel hitch at the highest point. As long as that point does not exceed 1 inch above your truck's bed, you are good to go!

I went ahead and attached a helpful demo video for you to check out.
