We always recommend that you refer to your vehicle specific owners manual for confirmation of a specific vehicle model and trim package can be safely flat towed. The vehicle's OEM is the authority on capability of what they built. To flat tow your 2022 Chevy Spark ACTIV, you will need 5 basic components. These are base plates, tow bar and safety cables, wiring for indicator lights, and supplemental braking.
- Base Plate, Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1725

- Wiring Kit, Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-152-LED

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX1725 has a hidden design that creates a clean and seamless look and the bracket arms are easily removable when not needed.
The Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar, # BX7380 has non-binding latches to make it easier to disconnect no matter the angle or terrain. The swivel function makes it easy to connect, even on unlevel ground and being a self-aligning design, you just hook up to base plates on towed vehicle and drive RV forward.
