Troubleshooting Lower Bracket Hook Attachment on the SuperSprings # SSF-173-40-2

on the lower bump the bracket 512107 there is g g no place for the j part of the bracket to hook hoping there is some sulution

Looking at the installation tech tips, the SumoSprings Rebel Helper Springs # SSF-173-40-2 comes with a complete bracket and bump stop replacement kit. It is entirely possible that there is still some factory hardware on your 2016 Jayco Precept with a Ford F53 chassis that is blocking the installation of the 512107 lower bracket hook. It is important to note that you need to remove the factory bump stops and corresponding brackets in order to install the # SSF-173-40-2.
It is also a possibility that the lower mounting bracket 512105 is turned the wrong way. The longer side should be facing toward the middle of the motorhome.
We actually have installed the # SSF-173-40-2 on an F53 chassis. I went ahead and attached a video of the installation process. The part that involves the lower bracket positioning starts at timestamp 8:35.
