2013 Jayco 154BH with dexter 3000 pound axle. Is this the conversion kit thatvI would use?

You would use over-under conversion kit # K71-384-00 if the axle on your trailer is round and 2-3/8 inches in diameter. If your axle is 3 inches in diameter and round use # K71-385-00. These kits are only for use on double-eye spring suspension systems.

If you need to raise the trailer in order to tow it level then the best solution is to use a ball mount with the proper amount of drop. I have included a link to our FAQ article explaining how to measure for rise or drop to select the right ball mount. This is the preferred method because raising the trailer higher by using one of the kits makes the trailer more susceptible to sway.

Be sure that you tack weld the spring seat into place on the axle when installing an over-under conversion kit.
