You will have to determine what size axle your utility trailer has. Typically a single axle 12' utility trailer will have a 3,500 lb axle. If you have a single axle trailer with 5 on 4-1/2 wheels, you probably have a 3,500 lb axle. This axle will typically have an axle diameter of 2-3/8", if you wanted to take a measurement. If this is the case, your axle will more than likely have an inner bearing L68149 and an outer bearing L44649, but you can find out the bearings you have on your axle by removing the hubs and checking the bearings. The part numbers should be engraved on the bearings.
Your axle will be a braking axle. For example, the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2, part # 84546UC3-EZ, is for an axle rated at 3,500 lb, with the L68149 and L44649 bearings, and a 5 on 4-1/2 wheels.
I have included a product description link, weblinks about axle measurements and hub and drum assemblies, and a video review link below.
