Noise After Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Install On 2022 Mazda 3 Hatchback

Hi team, The C98BR hitch is great and I was told by u-haul, easy setup. When driving I hear what sounds-like the rear bumper bouncing off the the hitch. Looking under the car, it doesnt appear the hitch is hitting the muffler. Any recommendations or guides on how to mitigate this noise? Will it require trimming the rear bumper? Thanks,

There is no trimming required for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C98BR on a 2022 Mazda 3. The only thing we typically see creating noise after install is heat shields and mufflers. The bumper and hitch are both fixed so this is not likely the issue. That said, I have attached a help article below which goes over some things you can do to help cut down noise from the exhaust if this ends up being the issue.
