My Atwood still displays a green light when powered on, Should I replace the unit when the yellow replace indicator illuminates or on the manufactured date and 7 year life span. Manufactured in 2013.

In order to be sure you're receiving accurate readings you will want to replace the unit after the life span printed on the label from the manufacturer has elapsed regardless of condition. The RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector part # RS34FR is an easy to install two wire replacement for this and what I recommend using.

You can use the RV Propane Gas Detector #RS64FR to replace your current Atwood 31013 propane gas detector. This will also use a 12v, 2-wire installation like your current detector.
