When it comes to a replacement for your Atwood Water Heater GC6AA-9E The Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR will be a replacement.

This system has a 6 gallon tank and has both a automatic direct-spark gas pilot and an internal electric heating element. The cutout dimensions are 12-3/4 inches tall by 12-3/4 inches wide by 19-7/8 inches deep. If this system does not work with the measurements you have please reach back out and I can find you a different part.
