Do the Coil SumoSprings for a 2020 Mercedes-Benz Metris Provide Lift & Reduce Squat
Question:
coil sumo springs PN: 1195R Installed on 2020 Mercedes-Benz Metris Cargo van I just installed a sumo spring. Before I go any further I need to know if this is a correct fit since there is a ~ 2-1/2inch end to end gap when the coil spring is unloaded - See attached photo. Reason for question is install photo shows no gap. Please clarify as soon as possible so I can proceed. Thanks !

The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1195R were not designed to provide lift. They were designed to help support a heavy load on your suspension.
I was unable to get a definitive answer on how much your 2020 Mercedes-Benz Metris would squat with the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1195R installed. The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1195R are designed to become stiffer when more weight is loaded onto your vehicle and to keep the vehicle more level. You can expect the coil capacity to be increased by 15% to 30%.
