What Complete Trailer-Side Wiring do I Need for a Dual Axle Toy Hauler?  

Question:

searching for a complete wiring kit for an 18 foot car hauler trailer with brakes on both axles. if you have wiring trailer wiring kits that are complete please send me a link. when I search wiring kit, it brings up vehicle wiring not trailer wiring.

For your car hauler, you need the appropriate length of the Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot # 10-2-1. You will wire one wire from each brake magnet to ground, For the other wire, that will go to the 12 volt output wire from the trailer connector. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows the schematic of this setup. The 7-way plug is at the top of the vertical blue line at the top.

For the tail lights of the trailer, you need the Bonded 4 Wire - per foot # 16-4B-1. As far as the trailer-side 7-way connector, I recommend using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # HS381-9000.
