Supplemental Braking System for Flat Towed 2004 Jeep Liberty
Question:
i have 2004 jeep liberty that i want to tow behind my motorhome and my dodge ram what is the best brake system?

Because the floor in front of the driver's seat of the 1st gen Jeep Liberty isn't completely flat, a portable braking system like the # HM39524 Brake Buddy wouldn't be the best choice for your vehicle.
I'd recommend a supplemental braking system from Demco like # SM99251 if the motorhome has hydraulic brakes or # SM99243 for motorhomes with air brakes. You'll also need the # RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights.
