Brake Buddy Select 3 Doesn't Complete Test Cycle
Question:
I installed this brake system on my 2015 Chevy Silverado, what I have noticed is that once I plug in the brake buddy plug to my pick up it starts the test and purge cycles and right after that the power inside the vehicle begins to flash on and off this leads to the system never completing the test cycles. I have double checked the grounds and they are grounded correctly.

Thank you for your purchase from etrailer of the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. According to the manufacturer, whom I reached out to, the issue described could be in the Power Cord. Please examine the male terminals on both ends of the Power Cord to ensure the individual sections of each male pin are not compacted.
They should be spread slightly. If they are compacted, they may not be making solid contact, creating the intermittent power loss you have described. You can spread them out with a small flathead screwdriver or pocket knife etc., but be sure to be gentle as they can break off if too much force is applied.
