Will Hopkins HM39524 Brake Buddy Select 3 Actuate Brakes Even Though Vehicle Isn't Running

Question around Item # HM39524. Planning to flat to 2013 AWD ford explorer and wondering how does the system work not to build up pressure in the pedal while breaking since the towed vehicle is off. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Although you won't have power brake assist with the vehicle off, the Brake Buddy Select 3, part # HM39524 will apply enough pressure to the brake pedal that the brakes will work just fine once the unit is installed and properly set up according to the installation instructions. You'll be able to remotely control the unit from the cab of the motorhome.
