Can The Reese Spring Bar 58501 Be Used On The Reese Head 125029?

Will bar rp58501 fit Reese head 125029? I am ok with the lower tongue weight and would prefer not replacing the entire hitch.

I spoke with Reese in regards to the compatibility between the Replacement Spring Bar for Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP58501, and your current 125029 WDS head, and was informed that they are not compatible with each-other, unfortunately, however:

If you wanted to use the Replacement Spring Bar for Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP58501, you'd have to also swap out your head.

Or

Instead of buying these items separate, you could use the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66558 which comes with the head, the two spring bars, and everything you need for installation.

I checked with Reese and for the Replacement Spring Bar part #RP58501 the dimensions are: Length 36” Width and Height of square end 1-1/8” Hole diameter 1/2” Hole location from end of bar to center of hole 1”
