Installing a Brake Controller on 2006 Toyota Sienna

I will be using a 2006 Sienna to pull a small Jayco trailer 2,600 lb dry wt. that has electric brakes on a single axis. The Sienna has no factory wiring for a 7-point plug. I have a flat 4-plug kit tied into the tail lights, but need to verify all is working. This will likely be short term and only moving the trailer a hundred miles or so each trip this summer on flat ground. What are some economical options for getting connected to the trailer brakes?

We have exactly what you need and we even have a video to help you with installation steps. I suggest the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90885 and because you already have the flat-4 plug installed, you simply need to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. This kit has everything needed to expand your 4-way connector to the needed RV style 7-way connector and provide the needed hot wire for the electric trailer brake controller on your 2006 Toyota Sienna.
