SumoSpring Versus Timbren Helper Springs for 2022 Ram 1500

I have a 2022 Ram 1500, and I occasionally tow a flatbed trailer that weighs about 3000 lbs. When I do so, I get some considerable sag in the rear suspension. Would the Timbren TDR1500DQ or one of the Sumo Spring options be better to fix this? I've used air bags before, and didnt' care for them.

The Timbren # TDR1500DQ Aeon springs you'd looked at provide up to 8600 lbs of support which is waaaay more than you'd need. They'd cause your truck to ride like a buckboard when under load so I wouldn't recommend going that route.

The SumoSpirings # SSR-307-47 are made from a much more pliable but still very tough material that would give you up to 1500 lbs of additional support which would be plenty to cover the 300-500 lbs of tongue weight your trailer exerts on your rear suspension. You'll be much happier with the ride quality provided by the SumoSpring product versus that of the Timbrens.
