Can the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer with SkyRise HD Tent Be Towed with a 1-1/4" Hitch

Hi, Can I tow this w/ a Class I 1 1/4inch hitch on a Mazda CX-5?

The Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer with SkyRise HD Tent # Y08129-3627 weighs approx. 310 lbs. and uses a 2" ball coupler. From what I can find on the Mazda CX-5 it has a tow rating of 2,000 lbs. and your hitch is likely around the same capacity. You will want to verify the tow capacity of your Mazda CX-5 in your owners manual and the capacity of the specific hitch you have. But more than likely this will work with your set-up because it is well under the limits I was able to locate.
You would just need a 1-1/4" ball mount with a 2" ball like the Curt Class I Drawbar # C45027 and the 2" Hitch Ball # C40018. You would also need a Curt Hitch Pin and Clip # F-4 to hold the drawbar in your hitch.
The Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer with SkyRise HD Tent # Y08129-3627 also has a 4-way wiring connector to power the lights on the trailer. If your Mazda CX-5 does not have a 4-way connector already then you would want to add one. If you can provide me with the year of your Mazda CX-5, I can recommend the correct 4-way wiring for you.
