Can You Stack The Bauer Products Magnetic Door Holder for Trailer Compartment Doors
Question:
I have a clearance issue with other latches hitting the door first when open them all the way back against the camper and I’m trying to find a magnet or a pair of magnets that are at least 1.5” thick that will keep the door from hitting other latches. My question about this particular magnet is sense these are 3/4” thick will I be able to buy 2 magnets giving me 1.5” thickness and they stick together? Or will the magnets only stick to the strike plate? If they don’t stick together can you give me another idea on a magnet that will give me the clearance I need?

I follow your intent of stacking for purpose of spacing, but suggest you attempt to source something from local hardware store instead of stacking this item to gain the needed height. Yes, this magnets polarity will allow the Bauer Products Magnetic Door Holder for Trailer Compartment Doors, # BA98VR to be stacked, but the face side is not a uniform flat surface.
