I can definitely assist you installing the etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover - 70" Wide x 39-3/4" Tall # e98899.

The first thing you need to do is to put the side "stopper" tabs into the door jambs of your vehicle with the blue side up (for snow/ice protection) or the silver side up (for sun reflection). Once that is complete, all you need to do is use the side straps to fasten the cover around your side mirrors. You may need to double-wrap or even triple-wrap the straps around the mirrors in order to get a tight fit on your vehicle.

Yes, you will want to remove any rubber floor mat when you're installing the Brake Buddy Select 3 #HM39524. It doesn't say this in the instructions but it's still recommended. I confirmed this with my contact at Hopkins/Brake Buddy.

We can't recommend you drill into the base plate to mount the breakaway switch as that would void the warranty of the base plate kit. Instead I would recommend mounting the switch to the bumper of the vehicle.
