Are The Side Bumper Brackets Removed Permanently When Installing Blue Ox Base Plate BX1139?

On your video for installing a Blue Ox baseplate on a 2021 Jeep at 12:20 in the video he removes a bracket on the back side of the bumper support. He appears to not put this bracket back on when installing the baseplate. Is this correct?

You are correct that the Jeep bracket should have been reinstalled when installing the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1139. I have linked another video near the bottom of the page where you can see the brackets being reinstalled on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler around the 12:50 mark of the video. This can also be seen on page 9 of the installation instructions which are also linked near the bottom of the page.
