Your Westlake ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tires - Load Range D # WST54FR are designed to perform off-road and on the highway. Unlike standard trailer tire tread, the deep, rugged tread on these tires channels water away so that the tire makes better contact with the road.

This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Because of this, the tire is specifically designed for off-roading on uneven terrain such as mud, sand, and grass, although it performs well on highways and other paved roads as well.

That being said, there will be a difference in gas mileage although it is difficult to say how much. Realistically you will be fine using your current tires for long distance traveling. Depending on how much traveling you plan to do, and if you feel like switching out your tires, you could use the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Liger Aluminum Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Glossy Black # LH36FR for highway driving.

This tire-and-wheel combo has a capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. It has the same maximum speed of 75 mph and since it is just slightly smaller than your current tires clearance will not be an issue. The tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years and a 1-year no excuses guarantee on the tire itself.
