Does 118750 Wiring Harness For 2020 Chevy Equinox Need Power Wire Routed to Battery
Question:
2020 equinox purchased your 118750 kit, unable to access hoist at this time to install under vehicle 12v to battery wire. Can I temporarily power this kit using the rear cargo 12v power port using a plug in power cord pictured below? Thanks for your help in this matter.

I cannot recommend running the power wire to an accessory port, and the hot lead does need to go to the battery of your 2020 Chevy Equinox when installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118750.
The reason is this is the only way to ensure your car's wiring is not otherwise affected,
