How to Determine Correct Replacement Bearings on Trailer With 3,500 lb Axle  

Question:

i have a Tennessee trailer model number E26L with 3500 lb axle...also has bearing buddies on it...5 lug system..it is a 2003 year and i think it is about time to change bearings etc on it...been garage kept and heated garage in winter....what set up would i buy from your store to do this correctly....thank you for your help on this......

So, there are a few things that you'll need to measure and find in order to get the correct replacement bearings for your trailer (we don't have a way to know exactly what bearings you need). All you'll have to do is take apart your hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them.

If you are unable to find them, you need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure.

I've also added a link to a help article on common bearing sizes, as well as a link to our available bearings and kits. Or if you let me know the measurements you get, I can try and find the right option for you.
