2005 Ford Excursion Flush Rail Roof Rack Recommendation for Luggage
Question:
I would like a roof rack system for my 2005 ford excursion. I have the factory channels running the length of the roof. I want to put gun cases, luggage ext. up there and tie it down. Would like side rails and a ladder cause its lifted and I am short. What would you recommend?

Since you're planning on hauling gun cases and luggage I highly recommend going with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR78AB for your 2005 Ford Excursion. This measures 84" x 56" and connects directly to the flush rails on your roof, and the platform part will make loading and securing your cargo much easier on this than on just a standard 2-bar roof rack setup.
