Can I Use a Bumper Mount Cargo Carrier on a Class C Motorhome When Flat Towing
Question:
I have a class c motorhome, and this looks like it would work well to carry extra stuff. However, Im usually towing a car behind. Since this doesnt use the hitch, is or safe to assume its ok to use while towing a car?

I have an option for you. But while the 24x64 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e83YR would not interfere with the tow bar going into the hitch, it is going to stick out 25-7/8" past your bumper which will interfere with your tow vehicle, especially during turns. There is not going to be an option for the back of your class c to have enough clearance to clear the towed vehicle.
The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07 is a universal mounted hitch that you can use as a front hitch. This would then allow you to use a hitch mounted cargo carrier like the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 to carry gear on the front of your class c.
We would recommend that if you go this route, that you have a qualified fabricator install the hitch.
