Can Ground for Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System be Connected to Battery
Question:
InvisiBrake controller shows that the ground wire to the motor home lights should go to vehicles chassis. The towed vehicle battery is right next to where I installed the InvisiBrake contoller, can I just connect it to the negative post?

Technically you can connect a ground for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 to the negative terminal on your battery, but usually when a manufacturer says to connect it to the vehicle frame for a ground connection it's to protect the battery so I recommend just installing it to the frame of your motorhome. You could probably find an OEM ground connection near wiring to the battery which would be easier than using a self-tapping screw for that connection.
