How To Find Correct Replacement Hydraulic Brakes for TrailerRight Sailboat Trailer

Question:

I have a dual axel trailer made for a 5000 lb sailboat the old TrailerRight mfr. I am thinking each axel is rated at 3500 lbs. Is that correct? Also, how do I measure to check on the right size for this product? Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - 10 - Left/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs Item # AKFBBRK-35

Expert Reply:

There are two ways to confirm fit of the Hydraulic Brake Kit part # AKFBBRK-35-D, you can either measure the axle tube diameter or measure the inside of the hub where the pads ride. If it's a 3,500 lb axle then the diameter will be 2-3/8" and the inside of the hub will measure 10" x 2-1/4".

If you have different measurements let me know what they are or you can choose from the full list below.
